The Art of Stringing Beads

Instructor: Karen Morris

Class Description:
Designed for the beginner, this class will guide the new or returning beader through stringing a necklace or bracelet using Softflex beading wire and crimps. Students will learn tips on design and materials. Even if you don't take home a completed creation at the end of class (and most students do!), you'll leave with the know-how to finish your project on your own. Class includes a discussion of other beading materials and what they are used for - what are clam shells and bead tips? What kinds of clasps are available? When should I use thread instead of beading wire? What is tigertail? Feel free to bring questions, and your instructor will do her best to answer them!
