Bead- and Wire-Wrapped Bangle Bracelet

Class Description:

What could be more fun than a bangle bracelet wire-wrapped with colorful beads? Bangles are all the rage this year, and here is a unique, modern twist on a traditional style. Choose from an assortment of wood, plastic and vintage lucite bangles (available for purchase from the instructor or bring your own), decide on a color palette, and go! In this class, we will practice wire-wrapping on bangles, choose a pleasing collection of beads, experiment with different design options, learn how to finish the wire ends, and complete at least one bracelet.

All skill levels welcome.

Class limit: 8

Register

Bead- and Wire-Wrapped Bangle Bracelet Supply List

One or more hard bangle bracelets (at least 1/2" wide;
available for purchase from the instructor)
Spool of 28 gauge wire in silver or gold
Assortment of beads (as small as 2mm or as long as 12mm -
avoid large round beads that will not sit flat;
think about colorful/pleasing combinations)
Needle-nose or flat-nose pliers
Hypo Tube Jeweler's Cement (or other thin, clear, jeweler's cement)

All supplies are available at Crystal Blue, or bring your own.
