Braided Ndebele Necklace

Class Description:

Weave a luxurious braid from 3 simple Ndebele ropes in this intermediate class. During the class we will stitch the end-piece and begin the ropes. Written instructions and demonstrations will allow you to complete this necklace or bracelet at home.

Prerequisite: Basic competence in at least one of the following stitches: Ndebele, peyote, commanche, or right-angle weave.

Class limited to 8.

Braided Ndebele Necklace Supply List

#10 beading and #12 sharps needles.
Nymo D or C-Lon thread in color to match beads.
small scissors.
24 grams of Delica beads in main color.
small amounts of accent colors are optional.
lid or pad to hold beads.
beeswax or Thread Heaven.
Clasps will be discussed in class and can be purchased after necklace is stitched.
