Fibulas (what is a Fibula, Anyway?)

Class Description:
Fibula is a class that will expand your wire skills while giving you a new direction for exploration. A fibula is a pin made out of one continuous piece of wire. We will work with 18g wire to create several designs. Beads can be added either in the body of the pin or as dangles. The pins we will create are perfect for winter coats.
Samples available for viewing in store.

Prerequisite: Wire Work I: The Basics, or teacher approval. Limited to 8.

This class is not currently offered, but can easily be arranged as a private class by calling the store at 617-923-2337.

All of Linda's classes can be scheduled as private or semiprivate classes at a time most convenient to you, upon request.

Fibula Supply List

• Wire-work tools including round and flat-nosed pliers and wire cutters.


• One spool 18 gauge copper wire.


• Small selection of beads to experiment with (they should fit on the wire).

Note: Purchase supplies at Crystal Blue, or bring your own.
