Class Description:
New! Wishes do come true! Now you can learn to make your own enchanted Genie Bottle. In this 2-day class, participants will sculpt a multi-dimensional hollow vessel in peyote stitch, using Delica beads. Colleen's previous students report that this class is much easier than they ever expected! The finished bottle is 2 1/2 inches tall, and the base is only 48 beads around, so this project can be completed in a timely manner. Unique and easy method of improvising geometric patterns while increasing and decreasing can be carried over to other projects as well. PREREQUISITE- Students must be fluent in peyote stitch, and must complete a peyote tube base prior to the first class. Pattern and instructions for the base provided upon registration. An optional free clinic to get started on the peyote tube base will be offered; students must sign up in advance.
