Class Description:
Sensuously supple rivers of seed beads crocheted into an endless spiral...
Learn to crochet with beads from the women who learned this technique in a Bulgarian village in 1994, and introduced it to New England beaders!
In this special one-day workshop, you will learn the techniques of spiral
crocheted beaded "ropes" by making bracelets; once you know how to
make bracelets, you can make necklaces, earrings, and whatever other crocheted
beadwork your mind can imagine.
There is NO advance preparation expected of students for this one-day workshop.
The course fee includes purchase of a kit which contains all the materials
needed for the workshop (strung beads, thread, crochet hooks, etc.), plus written
materials for later study, including patterns. Each kit also contains one crocheted
beaded bracelet (ready to be sewn together) from Beads Without End. Please
remember to bring your glasses or your magnifier if you need these for working
with tiny beads at close range!
**Left-handers MUST speak with one of the instructors at least 2 weeks before the workshop so that a special left-handed kit can be prepared for them if necessary!**
All skill levels welcome. Previous crochet experience may be helpful, but
is not required.
Class size is limited to 8.
Samples available for viewing in store.
