Knotting with Silk (formerly called Knotted Beadstringing)

Instructor: Linda Linebaugh

Class Description:
Have you always wondered how the jewelers knot your pearls, and wished you could do it yourself? The best way to protect fragile or valuable beads is to knot between each bead, preventing both damage from wear and loss if the string breaks. In one session, you will learn everything you need to know about stringing and knotting: materials, tools, design, the art of bead knotting and adding a clasp, as you make a beaded bracelet or necklace. You will finish most of your piece in class, and save yourself hundreds of dollars in restringing in the future. And handmade beadwork makes a great gift!
