Class Description:
An exciting new form of beadery for those of us who love fabric AND beads: you
can combine them both in a playful lariat design, ending in luxurious tassels.
Tarantella is an ancient Italian dance, with music, drums, colorful costumes and a
pattern of circling clockwise and counter-clockwise. This lariat incorporates the
vitality, intricacy and vivid colors of the dance by using the patterns of fabric,
accentuated by the placement of beads in a unique, freeform weaving technique that allows
color, light and texture to unite in this striking piece. Come and dance!
