Triangular Amulet Purse

Class Description:
NEW! If you have been longing to make a beautiful amulet purse but found peyote stitch intimidating, this is the class for you! The project is easily started with a row of bugle beads, and it works up quickly because of its triangular shape. Learn a great trick for decreasing and shaping Comanche stitch in the round. All skill levels welcome.

Supply List for Triangular Amulet Purse

• Size 11/0 seed beads or Delica beads in 3 or more colors.


• Bugle beads 4-10mm; must be close in diameter to the seed beads.


• Needles: beading size 10 or 12 and size 12 sharps.


• Thread: Nymo B or D, C-Lon, PowerPro 10 lb., or Fireline 6 lb.; must be able to fit throught the bead hole 3 times.


• Light source; work surface or bead dishes; beeswax/Thread Heaven; scissors; magnification if needed.

Note: Purchase supplies at Crystal Blue or bring your own.
